Nadine Sawyer ‘Free Range’
Current Exhibition ends 3rd July
A capsule survey of Sawyers abstract journey of the past few years is a treat for the eye as her signature forms and moods transform and coalesce like coloured clouds, moving architecture, landscapes in a dream, or water courses shimmering from above as revolving lines.
With a Bachelor of Fine Art from RMIT and a Masters of Arts from Monash University, Nadine Sawyer has given herself to painting for over two decades. Having successfully participated in exhibitions and residencies both nationally and internationally, her work enjoys an avid following by those who know and collect her work. Founded in a devotion to the spirit and the soul, her work exudes generosity and blossoms with vitality in both colour and line.
Endlessly enjoyable by both the novice and the connoisseur, Sawyer’s work does indeed inspire.
Sue Rowsell ‘In Full Bloom’ Tuesday 4 July – Monday 14 August
Sue Rowsell is an architect and visual artist living in Brisbane. She has been painting and drawing since childhood and predominantly paints with oils. Sue recently took a career break from architecture to pursue her painting practice more seriously.
Sue’s work draws inspiration from the natural world around her. Her interest lies in the patterns, shapes and colours found in nature and bringing those to life. Her current series of still life paintings simply invite the viewer to share the joy she finds in her floral compositions.
