Brookfield Garden Centre – Wild Canary: Terms of sale for purchase of artwork
Prices quoted in Australian dollars and valid for the stated period of the exhibition at Wild Canary.
Wild Canary accepts payment by cash, cheque, credit card (Mastercard, Eftpos, Visa). Bank transfer by agreement.
The payment of the artwork includes the work and frame (if relevant) only. The buyer is responsible for collection of the work at the close of the exhibition.
Payment is taken on full on the day of purchase. No deposits or lay-by are possible. Once the artwork has been paid in full, the client will have three (3) days to decide to keep it or return it. The client will immediately notify Wild Canary if the artwork(s) is to be returned. Only approved shipping methods or personal delivery (if the work has already been taken) may be used.
If the artwork(s) is returned and is received in perfect condition, Wild Canary will reimburse the cost of artwork(s) less any associated costs.
Purchased works cannot be collected until the close of the exhibition, unless prior agreements have been made. Collection is the responsibility of the buyer. Once a purchase is made, the buyers contact information including phone and telephone numbers need to be left with Wild Canary. The buyer will be contacted upon the close of the exhibition to advise suitable collection times.
Delivery is only possible for large sculpture works being delivered within Brisbane. Delivery is charged dependant on the postcode of the delivery address which will be advised at time of sale if delivery is requested. The client must specify the delivery address when order is placed.
Withdrawal and Return
The client has three days (3) after purchase date to notify Wild Canary if there is intent to return the artwork(s). If the work is to be returned it must be received back in perfect condition within three day (3) of advice to return.
In the instance of a return, the client may ask for either (1) a refund of the price paid to Wild Canary, less any relevant costs, or (2) an exchange of the piece of artwork(s) from the same artist.

Refunds will be made in like form of payment within thirty (30) days of receipt of the returned artwork(s).
Insurance pertaining to the artworks are transferred to the client upon the collection of the artwork(s). In the event that the artwork(s) is returned to Wild Canary, the client shall retain all liability throughout the return process until the artwork is received and inspected in good condition.
All information on the clients, their respective business or affairs and the sales of the artwork(s) is confidential.
