“THE ONE THING”

Cameron Seymour is a Brisbane artist known for his bold use of colour and line. ‘The One Thing’, his 11th solo exhibition, was inspired by a restorative break at Currumbin over the 2023 Christmas holidays. During this time, he discovered a deeper appreciation for everyday objects through simple, un-rushed observation.
In this exhibition the artist explores the power of mindfulness and perception, encouraging audiences to see beauty in the familiar.
MEET THE ARTIST
Due to the impending cyclone and the uncertainty of its impact, we have decided to close Wild Canary from Thursday, 6th March – Sunday, 9th March. This decision was made with everyone’s safety in mind.
As a result, the ‘Meet the Artist’ event, originally scheduled for Saturday, 8th March, 3:00pm – 4:00pm, has been postponed.
Once we have had time to assess the situation, we will advise on a new ‘Meet the Artist’ date.
