Head Chef Opportunity
Join an iconic Brisbane bistro renowned for its vibrant breakfast and lunch service, operating seven days a week, and hosting bespoke weddings year-round. We take pride in using fresh, locally sourced ingredients, including produce from our own kitchen garden, while building strong relationships with local farmers and suppliers.
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Head Chef to lead our high-volume kitchen, drive culinary creativity, and showcase the best of seasonal ingredients. This role is ideal for a senior chef seeking a lifestyle change, with most evenings off while still crafting exceptional culinary experiences. Experience with a wood-fired oven is highly desirable.

Proven experience as a senior chef in a high-volume café or restaurant.

Exceptional cake baking and decorating skills, with a keen eye for detail.

Wild Canary is looking for Cafe All-rounders to join our fun and energetic team. You must be fast on your feet, able to multitask, have great customer service and work well in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work a rotating roster that includes weekends.
Job tasks and responsibilities:Greeting customers
Waiting tables
Running food and drinks
Barista experience (preferred - not essential)
General cafe duties
To be considered for this role you should:
Be available on weekdays and weekends
Have at least 2 years’ experience as a Café All-rounder in similar venue
Be outgoing and friendly
Experience working in a fast paced and high-volume environment
Able to work well under pressure
Work well in a team environment
Outgoing and have a friendly personality
Must have positive attitude, good work ethic, team player and communication skills and willing to assist in all necessary daily café duties
Have a passion for for hospitality, food, coffee and customer service
Reliable and have current RSA
Be available on weekdays and weekend availability essential
Have Australian work rights (valid for at least 12 months)
As we are a 7 day a week operation for breakfast and lunch, we would prefer someone with flexible availability.

This is a Casual position with the opportunity for part-time or full-time employment available to the right candidate.
