We also knew that there was a very special and wonderful team behind the name from every interaction we have had, whether via email or meeting in person. You all truly made us so excited for the wedding!
In the lead up to the wedding you put our minds at ease with how professional and organised you all were, we knew that the day was going to run so smoothly. The venue looked absolutely incredible, the food was to die for, and I still think about the gorgeous (and delicious) wedding cake.
We honestly cannot thank you enough for how perfect you all made the day. And a special thank you to the team on the day for all your incredible work. It truly was the best day we could have asked for and a lot of that was because of all of you! So thank you again for everything!

We loved having everything in the one spot – our ceremony under the fig tree, canapés in the kitchen garden, and reception in the courtyard under the stars in a clear marquee gleaming with fairy lights. Wild Canary curated a seasonal menu for us, using produce from local farms and their own garden. The wedding cake was such a highlight, covered in gorgeous edible flowers. If you’re looking for a wedding venue, this botanical bistro nestled in the leafy Western suburbs of Brisbane is it! We would choose Wild Canary over and over again."

"A wonderful venue for dining during the day, as well as for private functions. The food is delicious, seasonal, and locally sourced; there is an on-site kitchen garden; the cakes are also amazing and decorated with edible flowers from the garden; the botanical setting of the cafe is beautiful; and the people working here are lovely and professional. The owners are kind, caring, authentic, and ethical, with thought put into issues like reducing plastic waste for functions, and they are very flexible and accommodating for private events. Event coordination communication is excellent also.”

"My husband and I are fans of Wild Canary for life. We had our wedding at Wild Canary, a small intimate affair and it was the perfect day. Event coordinators Kate and Claire were superb. From the first time we walked in to meet them, we knew we were in good hands and they were people who actually cared about us as a couple and got to know us, not just another number to push through like some of the other venues we looked at. The service the day of the wedding was impeccable, the food was delicious, and the cake - oh the cake. Stunningly decorated and it tasted even better. All the guest were saying that it was not only the best wedding cake they've ever had, but the best cake, period, they've ever had. Every detail was perfect and we owe it all to them. We cannot thank them enough. If you're thinking about having your wedding at Wild Canary - or even just going for brunch (have I mentioned that the food is incredible?) you will not regret it."
