  • We only ever hold one wedding at a time. This ensures your day is our primary focus.

  • Parking is available for guests on-site within Brookfield Gardens. We kindly request that all guests who wish to park overnight do so at Rafting Ground Reserve park across the road from Brookfield Gardens and Wild Canary or at the rear field behind the Brookfield Gardens first car park (see map).

    Please note all cars left overnight at Wild Canary/Brookfield Gardens will be locked in at the conclusion of your event and will not be able to be collected until trading hours resume the following morning. Disabled parking is available.

    Guests can access the ceremony or reception area no earlier than 15 minutes prior to the start tme of the ceremony / wedding reception.

  • Yes we will liaise with your vendors/suppliers in the lead up to your day.

    Vendor access is available up to 3 hours prior to the wedding ceremony. If access is required prior to the day of the wedding please advise your wedding co-ordinator.

    Vendors are able to access Wild Canary via the staff car park. Access is via the staff car park entrance off Moggill Road during business hours. Please note this driveway will need to be accessible for other deliveries during trading hours.

  • Yes, you’re welcome to have live music during your ceremony and for drinks and canapés in the garden. Live music is also permitted for your reception.

    Please speak with us about any plans you have for live music before making a booking with a musician, DJ or Band and we’ll ensure everything runs smoothly on the day.

    In accordance with our Liquor Licence the following restrictions apply on noise emanating from the premises, including amplified and/or nonamplified noise and/or patron noise must not exceed 75dB(c), when measured approx. 3 metres from the primary source of noise. Wild Canary reserves the right to manage volumes accordingly. We request that all guests respect these requirements. All curfews are subject to change without prior notice.

  • Yes, power is available under the Fig Tree/ Arbour area and also on the dance floor/ deck area.

    We recommend your vendors bring their own extension leads, power pack, and battery-powered speakers if required.

  • Yes, we cater for guests with dietary requirements. At Wild Canary, we’re happy to accommodate a variety of dietary preferences and restrictions, including vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, and more. Just let us know in advance, and we'll ensure your guests are well taken care of with delicious options tailored to their needs.

  • Yes, children and infants are welcome at Wild Canary. We offer children’s meals and can also provide a separate package for adolescents to ensure they have an enjoyable experience. Just let us know your requirements, and we’ll make sure everyone is well taken care of.

  • We are a dog friendly venue and would love you to include your puppy pals during your wedding ceremony and for your wedding photos.

  • No, BYO food or drinks are not permitted at Wild Canary. However, we’re happy to discuss any specific requests you may have at the time of booking and can explore options for what you'd like to bring with you. Just let us know, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your needs.

  • You’re welcome to capture beautiful moments throughout the stunning grounds of Wild Canary and Brookfield Gardens, including the lush gardens, the back paddock, and main garden centre, which features a charming gift shop, greenhouse, and kitchen gardens.

    For even more locations, we also recommend nearby spots like Rafting Ground Reserve and Moggill Conservation Park, perfect for adding variety to your wedding photos.

  • Our wedding team has a wealth of experience to guide and assist you with the planning of your special day. We are there on the day to assist you with anything you may need. As well as your set up, we help and support with logistics, develop run sheets, coordinate vendors, liaise with band/DJ, celebrants, florists, cue music and much more.Item description

  • We are an outdoor ceremony venue, a wet weather option will be discussed with you at the time of booking. If the wet weather option requires additional decoration and set up for your wedding reception, these additional requirements may be at your cost.

    For your ceremony we have an an undercover deck area or our sunroom located within the restaurant.

  • We will take care of setting up your standard wedding items, including place cards, menus, gifts for guests, signage, and gift table items. If you have any additional decorations or special requests, we’re happy to discuss them with you and ensure everything is arranged to your liking.

  • We do all the packing up and cleaning for you! We store all your decorations, gifts, left over personal items and lost property for collection the following day. Please do not leave your wishing well on premises, the contents must be taken with you at the end of the night.

  • Yes, our reception space is equipped with an inbuilt and portable PA system and microphone, available for use during your wedding reception. This includes support for speeches and playing your Spotify playlist, ensuring your event has the perfect soundtrack.

  • YES!!! A clear 10m x 12m Marquee complete with warm LED fairy lights in the ceiling is included in our Wedding Package!

  • No, the hanging baskets are not included in the package. If you are interested in pricing for plants and hanging baskets, please let us know and we can provide you with some pricing for your wedding.

  • No, the arbour is a permanent structure that cannot be moved. You can add to the arbour with floral installations or hire pots with plants either side of the arbour.

  • YES, Your bespoke wedding cake is included in the Wedding Package. You will have the opportunity to sit down with us and design your own wedding cake.

    Each cake is a masterpiece, baked at Wild Canary using the highest quality ingredients.

  • All guests must be off the premises by 11pm for evening weddings.

  • Yes, we do! We’d be delighted to offer you a private tour of our beautiful venue. It’s a great chance to explore the space, discuss your wedding ideas, and meet one of our coordinators. As we are a busy restaurant, weekend viewings are subject to availability, but we do offer weekday tours. Simply let us know your preferred time, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your request — weekends included when possible!

  • Here’s a breakdown of the key milestones leading up to your big day:

    • 3 Months Prior: We’ll schedule a meeting to review your Wedding Planning document and go over your Wedding Event Order in detail.

    • 1 Month Prior: We’ll finalize your menu, beverage selections, floor plan, and any other outstanding details.

    • 14 Days Prior: Final guest count and payment are due.

    • 5-2 Days Prior: This is when we’ll conduct a final run-through and handle any last-minute drop-offs.

    • Tentative Hold: We can place a tentative hold on your preferred date for 14 days.

    • Securing the Date: To secure your booking, a non-refundable booking fee is required, along with signed terms and conditions. This fee will be deducted from your final invoice.

    • Progress Payments, Final Numbers & Final Payment: A non-refundable progress payment is due 12 weeks before your wedding. Final guest numbers, dietary requirements, and full payment are due 14 days prior to your wedding and are non-refundable. Payments can be made via direct debit or credit card. Please note, credit card payments incur surcharges.
